I am certainly not the first or only artist/creative to use or be fascinated with the egg in their work.  Indeed, the egg is a metaphor used by many artists throughout the history of art.  It is a perfect metaphor, if you will, for life and all its frailty.  Blue Fragile is my added little piece to the collage.

The structural images that the blue egg is juxtaposed with are elements of my old sculpture and or old steel paintings by my brother Robert Adair.  Left outside, rusted and aged, they wonderfully enhance the visual paradox.

Blue Fragile, like my series Family Virtues, is created entirely on my iPhone.
