Shawn Adair

The Life of Christ is a series of prints documenting the life of Christ as seen in the Gospel of Mathew. It is also a continuation of my use of the wheelbarrow as a metaphor for Christ. This metaphor came to me one day as I was working outside, with a wheelbarrow, and feeling overwhelmingly burdened for someone dear to me. I felt as though I was carrying their burdens. On some small level we do carry each other’s burdens.  Indeed this is what Christ does for us. He carries us.
